CHAPTER 5

Sora, Donald, Goofy, and their newest companion Hercules exited from Olympus Coliseum and entered the world's docks.

"Wow...nice gummi." Hercules said, admiring it.

"Thanks Herc." Goofy replied.

Soon, the four heroes entered inside the gummi ship, introduced Jiminy and Chip n Dale to Hercules, and took off.

"Hey Herc, it looks like you may need a new outfit." Sora said.

Hercules looked at his torn garb. "Yeah, it looks like I do." he said, slightly laughing a bit.

"Allow me." Donald responded. He waved his staff and casted a spell at Hercules, making him glow a bit.

After the spell ended and the glow died out, Hercules saw that he was now wearing a Greek themed gold vest, Greek themed blue pants, new Greek sandals, red Greek gloves, and a new Greek headband. "Wow!" he said as he looked at his new garb. "Now this is what I call a hero's garb."

"Well, it certainly suits you well." Jiminy said.

"Thanks Jiminy." Hercules responded.

Soon, the gummi ship arrived at what looked like a jungle world.

"Hey, Donald?" Goofy asked. "Maybe King Mickey's down there?"

"In a place like THAT?" Donald questioned. "No way! Let's move on!"

"Hold on Donald!" Sora replied. "What if Riku and Kairi are down there?"

"Ya know, Sora's got a point, we might as well try searching." Hercules responded.

"Forget it!" Donald argued. "We are on an important mission!"

"Hey, we'll never know if they're down there or if there are heartless if we don't search." Hercules replied.

"Just land!" Sora ordered.

"No!" Donald responded.

"Are they always like that Goofy?" Hercules whispered.

"Not like this." Goofy whispered back.

"Come on!" Sora said.

"Aw, phooey!" Donald responded.

"We're landing!" Sora told him as he grabbed the ship's joystick.

Donald grabbed the joystick and tried to keep it away from Sora, but it only made the ship rock violently. "Don't touch that!" he said.

"WHOA!" Goofy replied as he tried to grab on.

"Hey! Quit it! Your gonna make us fall off!" Hercules told them as he tried to grab onto something.

Suddenly, Sora and Donald broke the joystick and made the Gummi Ship fall into the jungle world.

"WHAAA!!!" All four yelled as they fell into the jungle world...

**World: Deep Jungle**

Sora and Hercules fell off from the ship and landed in a tree house in the jungle world.

"Owww..." Sora responded as he rubbed his head.

"You okay Sora?" Hercules asked as he got back up on his feet.

"I think so Herc." Sora answered. He managed to get himself back up onto his feet. "So...this is what the world looks like from here."

"Yeah." Hercules said as he looked at the world he and Sora were in. He then noticed something. Donald and Goofy weren't with them. "Hey, where are Donald and Goofy?" he asked.

"Huh?" Sora questioned as he looked and saw no Donald or Goofy.

Suddenly, a foot step was heard.

Sora and Hercules turned around to see a leopard ready to attack them. They readied their weapons and defended themselves.

The leopard attacked Sora and pushed him back against the wall.

"OW!" Sora replied as he Slammed the wall.

The leopard then attacked Hercules, but it was no match for the demi-god and got thrown back.

"Sora, are you alright?" Hercules asked.

"I...I think so." Sora said as he got back and looked at the thrown down leopard. "You think it's dead?"

"I don't know." Hercules answered.

Sora and Hercules slowly approached the leopard, hoping he had died.

But it wasn't. The leopard attacked in surprise at the two, throwing them both back. It charged up at then and prepared to strike them again...

Until a man came from the jungle with a spear and stood in its way, defending Sora and Hercules.

"Huh?" Sora and Herc responded in unison as they saw the jungle man defending them.

The jungle man pushed the leopard away and pointed his spear at it, ready to attack.

The leopard looked at him and ran towards a nearby window and escaped, breaking the window glass in then process.

The jungle man turned to Sora and Hercules. "Are you two alright?" he asked.

"Uhh...I think so." Hercules answered as he and Sora got back on their feet.

"You have to beware of Sabor." the jungle man told them. "He's dangerous."

"Thank you." Sora said.

"You're welcome." the jungle man responded.

"So what is this place?" Hercules asked.

"My home." the jungle man told them. "It's called Deep Jungle."

"I see." Sora replied.

"Since you asked me that, you two must be from another world right?" the jungle man asked.

"Huh?!" Sora gasped. "You know about the other worlds?!"

The jungle man nodded. "How did you two get here?" he asked.

"We kinda crashed our ship and got separated from our friends." Hercules told him. "You wouldn't happen to see them?"

"They're probably here." the jungle man told them.

"Great, there's one called Goofy and there's a loud mouth called Dona...." Sora then thought about what happened at the ship. "You know what...never mind."

The jungle man looked confused at Sora.

"I'm actually looking for my friends Riku and Kairi." Sora told him.

"Friends...here." the jungle man said.

"Really?!" Sora questioned.

"*&&x%"

Sora and Hercules looked confused by what the jungle man spoke.

"*&&x%" the jungle man spoke. "Friends, here."

"Not sure what he meant but we better go find them." Hercules told Sora.

Sora nodded and prepared to go look for Riku and Kairi.

"Wait! The jungle's dangerous without someone who's lived here long." the jungle man told them. "Let me help you."

Sora and Hercules looked at each other and nodded.

"Alright." Hercules told the jungle man. "But first, what's your name?"

"My name is Tarzan." the jungle man told them.

"I'm Sora."

"Name's Hercules."

"Nice to meet you both." Tarzan replied. He then led Sora and Hercules off from the tree house and into the jungle.

**Meanwhile in another part of the world**

Donald and Goofy were sitting on a rock after the two got seperated and landed in the bamboo thicket.

"Gawrsh, where are we?" Goofy asked his pal. He then looked up into the sky. "I sure hope Sora's okay."

"Aw, who needs him?" Donald questioned, apparently still mad from earlier. "We can find the king without him!" As he was about to grab his staff, he felt something furry. He looked and saw a gorilla staring at him. Both him and the gorilla yelled in fright as they saw each other.

Suddenly, there was a rustle in the thicket.

Donald and Goofy turned to the direction of the rustle.

The gorilla ran away from the thicket and Donald, Goofy, and whoever or whatever made the rustle. But as the gorilla did, he dropped something on the ground.

Donald noticed what the gorilla dropped and saw that it was a gummi.

The rustling noise got louder as something was coming out.

Donald and Goofy gulped and hoped for the worst.

From there, a bulked man with a double barrel shotgun came out and looked at the two.

**Minutes Later**

Sora, Hercules, and Tarzan were sliding down trees towards wherever Tarzan was leading the two.

"So how do you know we're from other worlds?" Sora asked.

"I've seen some old reports about a theory of the other worlds." Tarzan explained to them as they slid down. "I didn't believe them at first, but then I had a dream that one day, someone with a key would save the worlds from the darkness."

Sora and Hercules looked at each other, then at the keyblade. "You mean...?" he asked.

"Yep. It told me to help the person defeat the darkness." Tarzan said.

"Well...I've joined along to help Sora, so I guess...the more the merrier." Hercules replied."

Tarzan nodded as they finally reached their destination, a campsite in an area of the bamboo thicket.

"Wow..." Sora responded as he and Hercules looked at the campsite.

"Yeah, its peaceful without creatures from darkness here." Tarzan replied. "Though not as safe when Sabor's around."

"Creatures of darkness...you mean heartless?" Hercules asked.

Tarzan nodded and entered inside a tent.

"Oh, hello Tarzan." a woman replied.

"Hello Jane." Tarzan greeted. "I like you to meet a few people I've found."

Sora and Hercules entered inside the tent.

"Oh, who're your friends?" Jane asked.

"Uhh...hi there." Sora greeted. "I'm..."

"Oh, you speak English!" Jane responded. She then turned to Hercules. "You too?"

"Well, English and Greek." Hercules answered.

"So, then, you two are not obviously related to Tarzan..." Jane said. "Are you here to study the gorillas?"

Sora and Hercules looked at each other in confusion.

"Highly doubtful." a man said as he entered the tent with Donald and Goofy.

"Sora! Herc!" Goofy cried out upon seeing his friends.

"Donald! Goofy!" Herc replied as he saw them.

Sora and Donald went to each other, but then realized the fight they had and turned the other cheek in frustration.

"A circus of clowns." the man said as he was about to walk out of the tent. "Not much use for hunting gorillas."

"Mr. Clayton, we're studying them, not hunting them." Jane told him as he walked out. "This is research." She sighed and turned to the group. "Well, the more the merrier. Do make yourselves at home."

"Well anyway..." Sora said, still a bit frustrated from earlier.

"I'm staying." Sora and Donald said in unison, making them look at each other in confusion.

"Uhh...Jane, can I talk to you in private?" Tarzan asked.

"Oh, of course." Jane replied. She and Tarzan then walked out of the tent.

"Sora, Herc. Look what we found." Goofy said as he showed the gummi he had in hand. "Look at this."

Sora and Herc looked at the gummi Goofy and Donald found.

"It's a gummi block." Sora said.

"But it looks different then the one back on...the..." Hercules replied.

"THE SHIP!" the four called out.

"Wonder what happened to Chip, Dale, and Jiminy?" Goofy wondered.

**Gummi Ship**

"Next time...there should be an auto pilot!" Jiminy yelled as he, Chip n Dale worked repairing the gummi ship.

**World: Deep Jungle**

Tarzan and Jane re-entered the tent and came to the four.

"So...Tarzan told me that you, Sora, are the one with the key that was in his dreams." Jane said.

Sora summoned his keyblade and nodded.

"So...my grandfather's theory was true after all." Jane responded.

"I'm really looking for my friends Riku and Kairi." Sora told them. "And Tarzan said that he could help."

"I bet I know where your friends are." Clayton said as he entered the tent. "The gorillas nesting grounds."

"Nesting grounds?" Hercules asked.

"We've been in this jungle for sometime now." Clayton explained. "But we have yet to encounter these friends you speak of. I wager that they're with the gorillas, but Tarzan refuses to take us to them."

"Now Mr. Clayton, I'm sure Tarzan has his reasons for..." Jane spoke.

"Then take us to the gorillas!" Clayton told Tarzan.

Tarzan looked at Clayton, then at Jane, then at Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Hercules. "I need to see Kerchak." he said.

"Kerchak?" Jane questioned.

"He must be the leader." Clayton replied. "Perfect, I'll go along as an escort. After all, the jungle is a dangerous place." He then made a smile on his face.

Tarzan led Clayton and the four heroes out of the ten and towards the gorillas nesting grounds. Suddenly, a rustle was heard in the jungle.

"Who's there?" Hercules asked.

The six readied their weapons.

"Clayton, why don't you go check it out?" Tarzan asked. "It could be Sabor or a gorilla."

"Alright then." Clayton told the five. "I'll be back." He then left the group and went to find out who or what made the rustle.

"Shouldn't we help him?" Sora asked.

"No, it'll take him a while to catch up." Tarzan explained as he led them up in the trees. "By that time, we'll be at the nesting grounds."

"Why?" Goofy asked.

"Because I quickly threw a rock there when Clayton wasn't looking to keep him away from there." Tarzan explained.

"Why throw him off?" Hercules asked.

"I don't trust him." Tarzan told them. "But I trust you four."

Soon, Tarzan led them to the gorillas nesting grounds and pleaded his reasons about them to Kerchak and Kala, Tarzan's gorilla mother.

"Kerchak, please listen to me." Tarzan told the two, mainly to Kerchak. "I know the nesting grounds are secret, but I trust them. You see, I want to help them because...because...well, they need us."

Kala looked at her mate.

"Did anyone get that?" Goofy whispered to the others.

"No." Donald answered.

"Kerchak." Tarzan spoke.

Kerchak stared at Tarzan, but then felt something and looked up, towards where the tree house was. He then left to where he looked at.

"Kerchak..." Tarzan replied.

Kala followed her mate towards the tree house.

**Meanwhile**

At the tree house, the gorilla that Donald and Goofy met was inside, playing with an old globe.

Clayton knelled down gently and prepared to fire his shotgun at the gorilla wihtout scaring it.

"WHAAAAAAAA!!!" Donald screamed at Clayton.

Clayton shot his shotgun in surprise, missing the gorilla.

The gorilla heard the scream and gunfire and looked at Clayton, making the gorilla run away.

Kerchak arrived moments later just as Sora, Goofy, Hercules, and Tarzan arrived.

"What's the big idea?!" Donald asked Clayton.

Tarzan approached Kerchak, who was rather angry at what the hunter was about to do. "Wait, Kerchak. Please!" he cried out.

Kerchak said nothing and walked away.

Donald and the gorilla looked at each other, but the gorilla walked away and followed Kerchak.

Sora, Donald, Goofy, Hercules, and Tarzan looked at Clayton, angry at what he was about to do.

"You don't understand. I was only trying to..." Clayton pleaded. "A snake slithered by, you see. I saved that poor gorillas life."

Tarzan merely said nothing.

**Minutes Later at the campsite**

"How could you do such a thing?!" Jane yelled at Clayton.

"Now Miss Porter, as I told you. I was not aiming at the gorilla." Clayton told her.

But Jane didn't believe him. "You are not to go near the gorillas again!" she told him.

"All because of one mishap?" Clayton asked. "Come, now..." Clayton looked at the angry group before him and walked away with a slight and nervous chuckle before his face became angry.

"Err...what am I doing with these imbeciles?" he asked himself. "Blasted gorillas! I'll hunt down every single one of them! I'll track them down somehow." he then grabbed his pipe from his pocket and prepared to take a smoke. "I'll stake my life on it."

Suddenly, another rustle was heard.

Clayton putted his pipe away as he heard more rustles and prepared to fire at whatever was making them.

Soon, Sora, Hercules, Donald, Goofy, Tarzan, and Jane heard a gunshot from nearby.

"Don't tell me...?" Jane asked.

Suddenly, the gorilla from before ran inside the tent and tackle hugged Jane to the ground.

"Terk?" Tarzan questioned. "What's going on?"

Terk spoke to Tarzan in gorilla language, another language Tarzan spoke.

"I see...black creatures and a man kidnapped you and some of the gorillas and held you in vine prisons that were controlled by a giant fruit." Tarzan said.

"But how did Terk escape?" Goofy asked.

"She told me that another man with a mask, clawed hands and feet, and in some sort of black clothing destroyed the giant fruit, the black creatures there, and released them." Tarzan explained. "But he said thank you in the same language we speak and left."

Terk nodded and pointed to outside.

"Jane, stay here." Tarzan told her.

Jane nodded and held onto Terk.

The five ran outta the tent and discovered...

"Heartless?!" Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Hercules yelled in shock.

"So that's the...heartless." Tarzan said as he saw them.

The heartless, looking like both male and female monkeys, saw the five and prepared to attack.

Sora, Hercules, and Tarzan slashed some heartless while Goofy rammed into some more and Donald casted fire, blizzard, and thunder spells at them.

Soon, the heartless vanished as the group defeated them.

"We've got to find the rest of the gorillas." Tarzan told them.

Hercules nodded. He then saw another heartless go into the bamboo thicket. "Maybe follow where the heartless are?" he asked.

The group nodded and went into the bamboo thicket. Unknown to them, Sabor was quietly following them.

Soon, the group arrived in the bamboo thicket and followed the heartless to the cliffs. There, they saw Clayton controlling the heartless and preparing to shoot Kala while Kerchak was throwing the heartless away.

"STOP!!!" Sora shouted.

Clayton turned around and saw the group.

Kala saw it as the moment for her to run.

"Clayton...how could you?" Tarzan asked.

Clayton said nothing and pointed his gun at the group. But he then pointed his gun down.

Suddenly, something crashed and destoryed a wall that led to an oasis of sorts.

Tarzan ran up to Clayton, but he was thrown back and saw Clayton riding a giant chameleon heartless.

The group readied their weapons and charged at Clayton and the giant heartless.

Clayton shot his gun at them, but missed as they charged up.

Tarzan and Sora jumped to Clayton and attacked him.

Clayton blocked their attacks with his gun and swung it around, trying to hit them.

Sora and Tarzan dodged but saw Clayton ready to fire.

Herc saw this and grabbed a large bolder and threw it at the heartless.

The heartless was hitted on the head and fell down, causing Clayton to fall off and his gun to slip from his hand.

Luckily, Sora and Tarzan jumped out of the way moments before the bolder hitted the heartless.

Donald casted his spells at the heartless while Hercules pinned it down and Goofy charged at its head straight on.

Clayton attacked with his knife he had at Sora and Tarzan, hitting them a few times.

Tarzan swiped his spear and knocked Clayton's knife off of him, making Sora able to send a strike at him that threw him to the heartless.

Clayton slowly got up and grabbed his gun, ready to fire.

Just then, Sabor came out with a roar and started to attack Tarzan.

Tarzan saw Sabor charging and had an idea. Suddenly, his staff glew white and had a windy aura around it. "AERO!" Suddenly, a wind like shield protected him and the rest and threw Sabor into a wall hard, knocking him down and having a few boulders squish him dead.

Clayton was ready to fire when Goofy threw his shield at him and knocked and destroyed his gun.

The heartless prepared to claw them, but his hand was grabbed by Hercules and snapped it. It screamed in pain.

Sora then ran up to them, his keyblade glowing and time slowly halting a bit.

"AERO!" Tarzan casted and pointed his spear at Sora.

"FIRE! BLIZZARD! THUNDER!" Donald casted as his staff shot all three spells at Sora.

The aero spell shielded Sora in a mini whirlwind while the fire, blizzard, and thunder spells formed around the shield. Then Sora, at a fast pace, slashed Clayton and the Heartless simultaneously 7 times, letting the spells hit them till one final strike hopefully finished the job.

Clayton, exhausted and feeling the attacks and spells then fell down to the ground.

The heartless, starting to vanish, fell down on top of Clayton and disappeared, taking Clayton with it and having the heart get released into the sky.

The group, exhausted from the battle and injured, fell down.

"We...did it." Tarzan said.

"I guess..." Sora then saw his keyblade glowing green and having a sparkling green aura around it. Suddenly, a giant flower was casted and spored green dust at them.

The group felt the spores hitting them and surprisingly healing them of their exhaustion and injuries.

The flower then vanished as the group was healed.

"Donald, what was that?" Hercules asked.

"A cure spell." Donald replied. "It can heal any known injuries a person or group had."

"Wow." Sora said in awe as he looked at his keyblade.

Kerchak came to the group and looked at them, smiling a bit. He approached Sora by the ear. "Thank you." he whispered. He then grabbed Sora and threw him onto the oasis, throwing Donald, Goofy, and Hercules next.

Tarzan looked at Kerchak and smiled. He then ran and climbed up to his friends.

Kerchak and the other gorillas then left the cliffs.

The group looked at the oasis, noting how beautiful it was. They then came to a large tree with many butterflies on it.

"Home..." Tarzan spoke. "*&&x%

"This is your home?" Sora asked. "But that means..."

"*&&x%" Tarzan spoke. "Your friends are they're. You can see them."

"Oh now I get it." Jane said as she and Terk came to them. "*&&x% means heart. Friends in our hearts."

"Heart..." Tarzan spoke.

"Oh, so that's what it meant." Sora said, disappointed.

"Sorry man." Hercules said. "We'll find them."

Sora looked at him and nodded a bit.

"Your friends...us...we have the same heart." Tarzan said. "But Clayton lost his heart. No heart, Clayton couldn't see his friends. No heart, no friends."

Sora and Donald turned to each other.

"Sorry about what I said." Sora apologized.

"I'm sorry too." Donald apologized.

Goofy grabbed and hugged Sora, Donald, and Hercules. "Yeah. All for one huh?"

Suddenly, the butterflies glew and started to separate, revealing a keyhole in the tree.

Sora's keyblade responded and fired a beam of light in the keyhole, locking it and making it vanish.

Suddenly a gummi popped out.

"A gummi!" Donald called out.

"But it's sure not the kings." Goofy replied.

"Hey...Tarzan...thanks." Sora said as he turned to him.

"You're welcome Sora." Tarzan told him. "But I have one request..."

Donald and Jane already knew what he was going to say.

"Of course, you can come and help us." Donald told Tarzan.

Jane came and hugged Tarzan. "Come back safe." she told him.

"I will...Jane." Tarzan said.

**World: Unknown**

"What drew the heartless to that world?"

"The hunter lured them there..." Maleficent spoke. "It was his lust for power that was the bait. Bit it seems the bait was too tasty for his own good."

A laughter broke out. "Yeah, he got chomped instead!" the shadowed bag creature

One of them came out from the shadows. "A weak hearted fool like him was no match for the heartless." he said.

"Not necessarily, it may have looked like he was defeated..." Maleficent spoke. "But his heart is more stronger than imagined."

"But the boy is a problem. He founded three keyholes and gained two allies." the ally said.

"Fear not." Maleficent said. "We have one ally that will find one before them...if Cruella would kindly stop her fur coat search." The horned witch then turned her attention away from her allies. "And... speaking of allies."

From the shadows came Clayton, gun in hand, alive, and with a smerk on his face.
